The Role of Ickford PTA The role of Ickford PTA is to "advance the education of the pupils in the school". To do this, the PTA aims to: 1. Develop relationships between parents and staff. 2. Engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils in it, and 3. Assist in the provision of facilities at the school not otherwise provided. Our fundraising goal for 2009/10 is to add to the school's outdoor play equipment, as requested by the pupils through the School Council.
The 2009/10 Committee The officers of the PTA this year are: 1. Co-Chair : Orla Griffin 2. Co-chair (and Secretary) : Claire Woodcock 3. Co-chair (and Vice Chair) : Rachel Wright 4. Treasurer : Tracey Smith The other committee members are John Ronane, Richard Lewin, Nina Appleby, Tracy Buxton, Julia Richards, Catherine Kaboleh, Emma Lowndes, Anita Baker, Sarah Venn, Beth Billings and Barbara Braden. Please contact any of us with your comments, suggestions or enquiries. The committee welcomes new members. This is your chance to make a difference to your child's experience of school. The committee is a sociable group and the meetings are informal and friendly.
